Children's Medical Research Institute's Childhood Cancer Research Program (Oklahoma)

Who is Children's Medical Research Institute's Childhood Cancer Research Program (Oklahoma)?

Children’s Medical Research Institute strives to improve the health of children through its support of research and education at the Oklahoma Health Center, with particular focus on the advancement of paediatric research and education. Since its inception in 1983, CMRI has raised and leveraged matching funds to create over $50 million to fund paediatric research and education programs including collaborative projects with the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and the Children’s Hospital at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

What have we done to help?

Through the efforts of its volunteers and donors, they are able to finance significant research and education programs, recruit and retain nationally and internationally recognized physician-scientists to provide medical care of critically ill children, and train future pediatricians who will treat generations to come.
