"Franz do whatever it takes"

Monday 12 September 2005
The band have specially designed a new wristband to pledge their support for fair and sustainable employment in developing countries and are hoping to raise awareness and money for the fight against HIV and Aids in southern Africa.
The charity 21st Century Ledaers (21CL) asked the musicians to write a message of hope on the wristbands, as well as a drawing of their choice. David Bowie, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and actor Ewan McGregor are already involved in the campaign.
The wristband will be available for £2.99 from Virgin Megastores throughout the UK from Thursday (September 15th) and from the website www.whateverittakes.org.
Also launching on the same day will be wristbands by The Killers' Brandon Flowers, Scissor Sisters, Green Day and Foo Fighters.
