"Scissor Sisters to Play V Festival Warm-Up"

The band headline this month’s event at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Stafford (August 20-21), but will precede the dates with a show at the London Forum (August 18).

A statement on the band’s official website reads: “Next Thursday the band will be previewing a large section of their V set with a special surprise gig at London’s Forum.”

”Proceeds from the gig will go to the Elton John AIDS Foundation and the Joe Strummer Foundation For New Music.”
